More information about my professional history and publications.

Professional Biography

I graduated from SUNY at Binghamton with a BA in Psychology and SUNY at Albany with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. My internship in clinical psychology was completed at the Greater Hartford Consortium. To stay up to date with research and knowledge, I maintain memberships to the American and Connecticut Psychological Associations, read professional journals and texts, attend conferences, and consult with colleagues.

Publications

I am the lead author of a psychological assessment textbook published by Sage, an international academic publisher. The first edition of the book entitled, Psychological Assessment and Report Writing, came out in February of 2009.  A second edition was published in 2014. The text is used in graduate level courses and by practicing psychologists.

I am also the author of a second book published by Sage, a textbook for undergraduate students about psychological testing entitled: Psychological Testing in Everyday Life: History, Science, and Practice, was released in 2018.

I also revised a chapter on uses of psychological tests in clinical and counseling settings for the 5th edition of a widely used undergraduate textbook.
